Halloween Festival
JCBA along with the Jerseyville Public Library and the City of Jerseyville will again host the annual Halloween
Festival on Saturday, October 28, 2006. There will be costume judging, a Halloween parade, games, food and
other events on that day. Children will also be able to trick-or-treat many of the downtown businesses. If you
are interested in assisting with sponsoring the event or for more information, call Ann at 639-5222.

At Club Grounds located at 23946 State Highway 3, just 2 miles west of Junction 109. Come on out and relax in our peaceful country setting!
Begins at 7 a.m. both days.
Family oriented event that features threshing, sawmilling, steam & gas engines, Antique tractors & machinery demonstrations & exhibits. Kid's Day activities on Saturday, and Garden Tractor Pull. Antique Tractor Pull and Car Show on Sunday. Big craft & flea market & lots of good "old-fashioned" food. Breakfast served from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. both days. Admission $3.00. Children under 12 FREE. Hosted by the Jerseyville Civic League, come enjoy a wonderful afternoon at the American Legion on Hwy 267, north of town. The afternoon starts out with kid's games, an array of food vendors and live entertainment. When evening arrives, see the spectacular fire works display. One of the largest in the county. Annual Fair Parade
July
Sponsored by the Jersey County Chamber of Commerce. Come enjoy the 52nd annual Jersey County Fair Parade. The largest in the county. There are many wonderful floats to see. Come early to get a seat for this 2 hour spectacular parade. We have over 350 entries with a wide variety to see. The parade starts at 6pm and travels down main street north and ends at the fairgrounds. You can enjoy all kinds of carnival rides, a beauty pageant, demolition derby, tractor and truck pulls and kids day at the fair. The fair is held the week of July 9th.
Annual Hoops

This event is a huge success. We had over 80 entries last year and several food booths. Come and see the many talented kids that come from all over to take part in this wonderful program. For more information you can contact Ann Rice at 618/498-5506
Annual Apple Festival

Last weekend in September Sponsored by the Jersey County Historical Society. This event is held the last wekend in September. Annual Christmas Promotion

Saturday after Thanksgiving Sponsored by the Jersey County Chamber of Commerce and the Jerseyville Civic League. Please come and enjoy our Jerseyville Hometown Christmas. This event will take place at our Historic Jersey County Court House. There will be several activities for the kids plus carriage rides will be available for persons wishing to tour the Historical points of interest in our town. Santa arrives on the Saturday after Thanksgiving with the opening of Santa's House. Come visit with Santa and have your picture taken with the live reindeer.
