Jersey Community
School District No. 100 provides quality educational opportunities
for more than 3000 children in Jersey County. The unit has a dedicated
staff with 16 years average teaching experience and 57% with master's
degrees. The drop out rate & mobility rate remain below state averages
while the graduation rate of the district is above the state average.
The student attendance rate is 95%.
Jersey Community
School District No. 100 has the second lowest tax rate of the 15 districts
in our region of Calhoun, Greene, Jersey and Macoupin counties. The tax
rate has decreased each year since 1992. Test scores remain high while
expenditures per pupil are about $1000 below state average.
