From St. Louis:    Getting to Jersey County is easy. We're less than an hour's drive   (40 miles) from St. Louis.   Option 1:  Take the Clark Bridge to Alton. Follow Route 67 North, to Route 267 until you reach Jerseyville, the   County Seat.   Option 2:  Take 67 North to the Great River Road (Highway 100).  Follow the Great River Road East along  Chautauqua, Elsah, and up to Grafton.  From Chicago and Springfield:   Take I-55 South to Route 16 (Litchfield exit, # 52). Continue  Westward on 16 for about 30 miles. Jerseyville is 70   miles Southwest of Springfield.   Area Map of Jersey County
